Long ago, there was an old carrot. He was the most authoritative there. He could have been a grandfather. But he wanted to marry a young girl. Other people thought: Let the old man do what he wants to do. This thing has nothing to do with us. What’s more, he wanted to marry a young girl carrot, not an aubergine or cabbage, so there’s nothing to carry about.” So, the old carrot and a young one got married.
Although the pumpkin fell down from the root with a cut. All the people attended the old man’s wedding. The banquet was so agreeable. In the moonlight, all the people drink dew and ate flower floss. The old carrot bowed and happily greeted the guests. He said some useless words. After this, they held a great wedding. The old man asked the red cabbage to be the witness, and the white cabbage to be the company. The cucumber and pumpkin sat in VIP seats. The potatoes were the temporary chorus on two sides who sang the wedding song. Others danced widely together. If you don’t believe me, you can ask the Jamaican woman who was playing the accordion.
The old man became more and more confounded because he was so happy. He even went to dance with bear feet. He fell down on the floor. Oh! He broke his back. The music was stopped, and then the wedding was over. The old carrot was dead, and could not marry the young carrot girl any longer. The carrot girl just laughed, everyone said that she could live in freedom.
