There is a young butterfly in a beautiful garden. Now he wants to seek a lovely little lover from the flower.
Butterfly flies from the east of garden to the west, from the south side of garden to the north side of garden. The flowers in the garden are so many. It is hard for him to choose.
So the butterfly flies to the daisy. Butterfly says, “Dear, madam, you are the most intelligent one among them. Could you tell me which one I should fly to? If so, I can fly straight to her and propose.” The daisy does not reply. Why? Before, she is still a maid; however, butterfly calls her “woman”, which she does not like. He asks 3 more times. She still does not reply to him.
So the butterfly has to fly away to seek his little lover. Butterfly hopes he could seek a female, a little older than himself, because this kind of woman is pretty considerate.
So, the butterfly flies near the autumn peony. However, he again thinks in the autumn the peony and apple blossom don’t have a good life. They blossom today but will wither the next day. Butterfly thinks, if he is married with the apple flower, it will not last long.
Butterfly then saw a pea flower. He feels that the pea is really the one he wants. The pea flower is the most favorable: she is very pretty and is quite capable at home. However, when he prepares to propose to the pea flower, he sees a withered flower nearby.
Pea flower says, “She is my older sister.” Butterfly is astounded and says, “Oh, so, you will look like her in the future!”
So, he flies away again. Now, spring and summer have passed, autumn has come. But the butterfly still flies in the garden. He flies and still can’t find his ideal lover.
So, the butterfly flies to the mint that grows on the ground. The Mint looks like she has no flowers, but her whole body is the flower, which has fragrance from the top to the stem, so the butterfly decides to propose to her. But mint says to the butterfly, “we can only be friends. No need to say anything else. Don’t make fun of ourselves.”
So, butterfly could not find a wife. He missed the best opportunities and ended up single.
