The little green worm's dream
It was a summer night ,
There was beautiful music flowing in the grassland
Oh,the cricket was playing violin
"Oh,how nice it is ,the cricket will surely become a musician"
the insects said
As they listened to the violin the cricket was very happy to hear this and his green coat made him look prouder
A litter green worm was lying under a leaf
He tired to hide himself and enjoyed the music quietly
For he was not so good-looking but he loved music too
Every time
When the cricket finished a piece,he would acclaim
"How wonderful"
The music could always take him to a dream far away
But the cricket didn't like the green worm
He always drove him away
Again and again
The cricket shook his elegant feelers And said to the green worm proudly
"You are so ugly ,but my music is so beautiful,now get out of here"
The green worm had no choice but to creep away and cried quietly
somewhere far from then
The tears reflected the stars in the sky
Now the wonderful music came to his ears again
The green worm looked up and listened carefully
The grassland became so charming to her,so she crept to them
and last she crept up a tree and no body saw her
The cricket was playing violin under this tree
It seemed to be in a dream
"Now I'd better weave a cocoon to keep myself in
then the cricket didn't see me any more"
Soon the grey cocoon was built and it was swinging gently in the wind
But the cocoon kept all the noise outside except the music
It came in through the cocoon and echoed beautifully in it
The green worm listened to it and fell sound asleep
Then she had a beautiful dream ,in the dream she had two wings
Which could dance very well
There was music during the long dream
When she woke up again she had become a beautiful butterfly
It was too beautiful for even herself to believe
The butterfly flew out of the cocoon and the cricket found her and said in surprise
"Oh,it's like a fair lady,a fair lady "he said
Perhaps he didn't know that the beaufiful butterfly was from the ugly green worm
Meanwhile
The butterfly didn't know what she would be like
It there had been no music
The music came
She lost herself in the moonlight
And the butterfly was now dancing beautifully to the music
The music and the dance matched so well
What a beautiful moment
Maybe the music had made the dance nicer or maybe the dance made the music more beautiful
    　
Then, all their friends knew about this and they thus came to listen to their special music. They were all fast asleep in the music too. It was like a kind of sonato really.
The next morning, when the pig and the bear woke up, they found the animals sleeping outside the window. They were happy about that. So they decided to form a snoring band to cure insomnia.
The spotted leopard couldn't sleep well. So he came to see the doctor. The snoring band had him listen to the music and he could sleep well.
A week later, he could fall fast asleep without the music.
Many other patients came, too.
The snoring band cured all their insomnia.
All of them praised the band for the members' cleverness. Hmm great! The snoring band! Wonderful!
