There lived many animals in the forest.
They had never seen a city. And they wanted very much to know what a city was like. One day, there came a wild cat from the city. The animals began to ask him about city life.
They asked him to talk about something in the city.
The wild cat was so proud of this.
He looked around, then knitted his brow for a while and said:” the city is so large, how can I describe it clearly in words?”
but suddenly, he tapped his head and said:” I have an idea. Now let me show you what a city is like .”
He asked the zebra to lie on the ground, then he told them:” well, there are many roads in the city. When people cross a road, they should go on the zebra crossing. ”
after this, he and all the other animals began to step on the zebra.
Till at last, the zebra couldn’t bear the pain and the weight. And he stood up and stretched his foot and said:” it seems that city is a place with pains.”
The wild cat the got on the goat and went near the spotted cow.” Er, the city is very very big, and it has a big map. The map is like the cow and his spots. Each spot indicates a place.”
The cat said scratching on the cow with his paws. The spotted cow couldn’t stand it and tried to run away.
“oh, it seems the city is a place of itch.” The cow said.
“oh, well. There is one thing that is special in the city.” The cat tapped his head and said.
“ the fathers in the city all like reading newspapers on the toilet.”
Now he just wanted to show this to the animals. So he said to the hippo” oh please open your mouth, and I’ll show you all what that means.”
The hippo opened his mouth. The wild cat sat in it and then he took the mole’s two hands.
He just pretended to be reading a newspaper.
Everybody was shocked at this. Just then, the hippo smelt something terrible.
So he made a sneeze and it threw the cat out.” AH…AH…” As soon as the cat landed on the ground, he heard the mole muttering” it seems that the city is a place of cruelty.”
Nobody would like to listen to the wild cat anymore. Because nobody liked the wildcat’s city. But one day, a bus came to the forest.
It was from the city. From the bus came lots of boys and girls.
The animals were looking at them far away.
They were all thinking about one thing” Is the city really like what the wild cat described”?
